Flowers, Trees & Roots: The Wild World of Plants

View, the Center for Arts and Culture in Old Forge, NY, is calling for artists in any medium to depict the wonder and variety of the growing plant world. The exhibition will feature vibrant, wild, beautiful art about plants, flowers, roots, fungi, leaves, and trees. The Art of Plants, Roots and Leaves will be open in View's 2 largest galleries from December 10, 2022 – March 25, 2023.

View is the largest and most comprehensive visual and performing arts center in upstate New York, with exhibits in 5 large gallery spaces that attract a national audience. The LEED certified arts center includes a 250-seat state-of-the-art performance space, ceramics studios, and classrooms.

Entry Requirements: All media accepted. Entry fee is $35.00 plus $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-5 digital images of original work created within the past 2 years. All work must be able to be moved/placed by one person. Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible. International artists are welcome. Deadline for entry is October 7, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury dates: October 8-27, 2022. Submit through CaFÉ at www.callforentry.org. View is located at 3273 State Route 28 in Old Forge, NY.
