Flourish: d'Art's Annual Juried National Exhibit of Floral & Botanical Artworks

Flourish is an annual juried exhibition of floral and botanical artworks from across the United States. Work must depict flowers and/or plants as the focal point or subject, though other objects may be included. This is the 5th annual Flourish Exhibit, opening on the final day of Historic Garden Week in Virginia.

The exhibition is co-curated by Gallery Director Amanda Bradley and a juror/artist to be announced. Works cannot exceed 50 pounds or 60 inches in their longest dimension, though these restrictions may be waived depending on artist involvement with installation. Contact [email protected] prior to submission if you have questions about size and weight specifications. The exhibition will be featured both in-person and digitally on d'Art Center's archive site.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 submissions (minimum 3 images required); additional submissions beyond 3 are $5 each, with a maximum of 10 works to be juried. Artists may submit the same image multiple times or use additional slots for detail images. All artists 18 or older residing in the United States are eligible. Work must be original, created without instructor or kit assistance, and produced within the last eight years. All styles and aesthetics are considered, and work must be hang or pedestal ready. Exhibition dates are April 25 - May 30, 2026. Reception is Thursday, April 30th, 5:30-7:30 p.m., with a Facebook Live of awards and permanent digital exhibition upload. Accepted works must arrive by 5 p.m. Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Notifications will be sent by email by 5 p.m. Monday, March 16th, 2026. Awards: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $300, 3rd Place $150. Gallery commission on sales is 60% artist, 40% d'Art Center. Artist statements must be 555 characters or less.
