About This Call
A juried exhibition presented by The Arts Council, Inc., of Martin County, Florida. Artists residing in Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie counties in Florida are eligible to submit.
The exhibition runs from Friday, October 22 to Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at the Court House Cultural Center, 80 E Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34994. Exhibition hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM. The juror is Karl 'Jerry' Craig, an abstract expressionist artist based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Accepted work includes 2D and 3D original work in all media completed in the last 12 months and not previously exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center. Giclees are accepted in photography only. Submission requirements: 1-3 images per artist. Entry fee is $30.00 for one image; additional images are $5.00 each. 2D work must be properly framed with wire for hanging, using plexi-glass only (no glass), with maximum framed dimensions of 15 square feet. 3D work is limited to 70 lbs maximum weight. Artists will be notified of selection by Monday, September 27, 2010. Artwork delivery is Friday, October 15, 2010, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The opening reception and awards ceremony is Friday, October 22, 2010, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Artwork pickup is Thursday, December 2 and Friday, December 3, 2010, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Awards: First prize $250, second prize $125, third prize $75. A 20% donation benefiting the Arts Council, Inc. will be deducted from all sales.
