About This Call
The Fine Arts League of Cary invites members to submit work for the Flora, Fauna and First Signs of Spring exhibition at the Mayton Exhibition, running January 5 – July 13, 2026. Entry fee is $20 for up to 4 works. Open to all members of the Fine Arts League of Cary.
Eligible work includes 2D artwork such as painting, photography, collaging, mixed media, pastel, and pen and ink created within the past three years. Work must be the artist's original creation, created solely by the artist without instructor supervision. 3D work, sculpture, crafts, and decorative arts are not eligible. Photographs must be original work printed in a darkroom or on photographic paper, or digitally created images where all elements are solely the artist's creation. Computer-generated imagery, AI-enhanced or AI-created work, art reproductions, giclee prints, and mechanically reproduced work are not eligible. Artwork must be family appropriate and available for the duration of the exhibition.
Submit high-quality JPEG images (minimum 1500 pixels on longest edge, maximum 30 MB) showing only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Physical artwork size is limited to 40 x 40 inches including framing. Gallery-wrapped canvas may be unframed if edges are painted and at least 1½ inches deep. All accepted works must be wired to gallery standards, labeled on the back with artist name, phone number and email, and must be for sale. Entry deadline is December 15, 2025. For questions, contact Karen at [email protected].
