Fleeting Moments 2024 - Street Photography

Fleeting Moments is an open call for entry to a street photography exhibition running August 8 through September 22, 2024. The exhibition features photographs that capture candid moments, revelatory interpretations, and brilliant reflections of the mundane. Works selected will demonstrate high aesthetic standards and capture a moment, ask a question, or tell a story beyond what is pictured.

This event is open to anyone living or working in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Submissions must be photographs that are framed or finished and wired for hanging with picture hooks. A $500 prize will be awarded for 'best in show' as determined by the judges, and a $500 prize will be awarded by popular vote for 'people's choice.' The entry fee is $30.00. Submissions must include 1-5 images. Winners will be notified by Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Works must be delivered to the gallery on Sunday, August 4 between 4 and 6 p.m. or by prior arrangement. The opening reception is Sunday, August 11, 4-6 p.m. Unsold works may be picked up on Sunday, September 22 between 4 and 6 p.m.
