About This Call
The fourth annual Flair on the Square is a juried Fine Arts Festival with live entertainment, delicious culinary treats, and local fresh market. Located in scenic downtown Bryan, Ohio, this free outdoor event is held on the last Saturday in July with official show hours from 10 am - 5 pm (rain or shine) on Saturday, July 25th. The goal is to cultivate, encourage, and develop public appreciation and support of the visual arts for the enjoyment of tri-state communities.
The festival includes ten medium categories: Ceramics, Fiber & Leather, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography & Digital Art, Printmaking & Drawing, Sculpture, and Wood. No mass-production or manufactured work is permitted, and artwork shown must be of the artist's own design and craftsmanship. Artists must be in attendance for the duration of the event. Entry requires a non-refundable jury fee of $25.00, with booth fees of $100.00 for 10 ft x 12 ft spaces or $200.00 for 12 ft x 20 ft spaces.
All artists receive a continental breakfast and free boxed lunch courtesy of sponsors, access to a hospitality area with refreshments and restrooms, and volunteer assistance for loading, unloading, and booth tending. Artists will be featured in social media spotlights and the event program. Booths must be white tents provided by artists and weighted (no stakes allowed). Electricity is not available and generators are prohibited. Artists retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for collecting applicable sales taxes.
