Five Points Small Works Juried Exhibition 2025

Five Points Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization located in Torrington, CT, is accepting submissions for its 2025 Small Works Juried Exhibition. Open to all artists 18 years or older working in any style or medium. Only original artworks that have not been previously exhibited at Five Points Gallery will be considered. Works must be equal to or smaller than 24 inches in any dimension, including frame. Up to three works per artist may be submitted. All accepted works will be exhibited at Five Points Gallery and on the Five Points website from July 25 – September 6, 2025. The award is a solo exhibition in Five Points Gallery in 2026. The opening reception and award announcement will be held Friday, July 25, 6-8 PM, with the award announced at 7 PM. Juror is Jill Enfield, a photographer based in the Hudson Valley whose work is held in museum and private collections including the Amon Carter Museum in Dallas, the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, MO, and the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three works, payable through callforentry.org (CaFE). Submissions must be made through CaFE only; entries submitted via email or direct mail will not be considered. Submission deadline is June 8, 2025 at 11:59 PM MDT. Jurying will take place June 10-22, 2025, with notification of acceptance on June 24, 2025. All artwork must be delivered by July 19, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Shipped artwork should be sent to Five Points Arts, 855 University Drive, Torrington, CT 06790, and must include prepaid return shipping. In-person drop-offs can be delivered to Five Points Gallery (7 Water Street) or Five Points Arts Center (855 University Drive).

All artwork must be for sale, with Five Points retaining a standard commission of 50% on all sales. Works on paper can be installed with magnets; framed works must be wired. All submitted works must be labeled on the back with artist name, title, date, medium, dimensions, and price. Accepted works should be accompanied by a printed artist statement limited to one page. Any work requiring assembly or installation must include detailed written instructions with reference photos. No artwork substitutions are allowed, and no work on display may be removed before the close of the exhibition. In-person artwork pickup is September 7, 2025, 10 AM - 3 PM. All shipped artwork will be sent back to artists on September 17, 2025.
