Five Points Biennial Juried Call

Five Points Gallery announces a biennial juried call for visual artists working in any style and media. Emerging and established artists 18 years or older may apply with original works not previously exhibited at Five Points. Up to three works per artist may be submitted, with a maximum of one work per artist selected for exhibition.

Accepted pieces will be exhibited in Five Points Gallery's three remodeled spaces from Thursday, August 3 through Saturday, September 2, 2017. An opening reception and award presentation will be held Friday, August 4 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The award is a 2018 solo exhibition at Five Points Gallery. The juror is Joe Fig, an artist, author, and Head of Fine Arts/Visual Studies at Ringling College of Art and Design.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three works. Submissions are accepted only through CaFE (www.callforentry.org). Deadline for submissions is June 18, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of selected works will be sent July 7. All artwork must be for sale with a 50% gallery commission; 10% of the gallery's profit will be donated to the Susan B Anthony Project. Selected works must be delivered ready to hang/install by July 30. Two-dimensional work must be ready for installation; work requiring assembly or complex installation must include detailed written instructions with reference photos. Artists working in new media, film, or video must provide necessary exhibition equipment. All work should be labeled with artist name, telephone number, title, date, medium, and dimensions.
