Five Points 2023 Small Works Juried Exhibition

Five Points Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization in Torrington, Connecticut, is accepting submissions for its 2023 Small Works Juried Exhibition. This international juried call is open to all artists 18 years or older working in any style or medium. Only original artworks that have not been previously exhibited at Five Points will be considered, with dimensions not exceeding 24 inches in any direction. Up to three works per artist may be submitted.

The entry fee is $35.00 for up to three works, payable through the CaFE website (VISA, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express accepted). Submissions are accepted only through callforentry.org. The submission deadline is August 27, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted works will be exhibited at Five Points Gallery (7 Water Street, Torrington, CT 06790) from October 13 - November 25, 2023. The opening reception and award announcement will be held Friday, October 13, 6-8 PM, with the award announced at 7 PM. The juror is Melanie Carr, a Connecticut-based artist and educator.

All artwork must be for sale with a standard 50% commission retained on sales. Artwork delivery is September 9 - October 6, 2023 (deadline 5:00 PM). Selected works must be ready for hanging with proper labeling on the back. Artists must provide a printed artist statement and brief biography (1 page each) for the exhibition binder.
