Five Points 2023 Juried Printmaking Exhibition

Five Points Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization located in Torrington, CT, is accepting submissions for its 2023 Juried Printmaking Exhibition. Open to all artists 18 years or older working in any style of printmaking including Etching, Woodcut, Linocut, Lithography, Monotype, Monoprint, Collagraph, Engraving, Aquatint, Screen Print, and Solar Printing. Only original artworks that have not been previously exhibited at Five Points will be considered, and only recent artworks should be submitted.

All accepted works will be exhibited at the Five Points Arts Center (855 University Drive, Torrington, CT 06790) and on the Five Points Arts website from June 3 – July 28, 2023. The award is a solo exhibition in Five Points Gallery in 2024. The exhibition will be juried by Amanda Lebel, a Professor of Art at Naugatuck Valley Community College who works in drawing, painting, and printmaking. A closing reception and award announcement will be held Saturday, July 14, 1:00 – 4:00 PM.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three works. Submissions are accepted through callforentry.org only. Up to three works per artist may be submitted. All artwork must be framed or ready to hang and able to be installed on a rod hanging system. No dimension can exceed 3 feet in any direction. All artwork must be for sale and cannot be removed during the exhibition. Five Points Arts' commission on sales is 50% of the retail value. Artwork delivery period is May 1 – May 19, 2023.
