Five Points 2022 Small Works Juried Exhibition

Five Points Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization located in downtown Torrington, CT, is accepting submissions for its 2022 Small Works Juried Exhibition. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years or older working in any style and media. All accepted works will be featured in the Five Points Annex Gallery and on the Five Points Arts website. The exhibition will be juried by curator Douglas Hyland, director emeritus of the New Britain Museum of American Art.

Exhibition dates are August 20 to September 24, 2022, at Five Points Annex Gallery, 17 Water Street, Torrington, CT 06790. The opening reception and award announcement will be held on August 20, 2022 at 6:00 pm (in-person or virtual). The award is one solo exhibition in Five Points Gallery in 2023.

Submissions must be made through callforentry.org only. The entry fee is $30.00 for up to three works. Submissions deadline is July 16, 2022 at 11:59 pm MDT. Artists may submit up to three original artworks that have not been previously exhibited at Five Points Gallery. Work dimensions cannot exceed 24 inches in any direction including frames. No film, video, or audio will be accepted. All artwork must be for sale and cannot be removed during the exhibition. The gallery commission on sales is 50%. Shipped artwork must arrive by August 12, 2022 at 5:00 pm; hand-delivered artwork by August 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Accepted artists must provide an artist statement and biography (1 page each) for the exhibition binder. Artwork pickup is September 25-26, 2022 from 1-5 pm, or shipped artwork will be returned by September 30, 2022.
