Five Elements: Juried Online Exhibition & San Francisco Art Fair

Studio Art Magic invites all visual medium artists to participate in the online exhibition Five Elements on Artsy. This exhibition explores the deep connection between humans, nature, and the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and ether. Artists are encouraged to reflect on the meanings of these elements, their significance in our lives, and the sacred knowledge that connects us to nature and cosmos. The gallery is particularly interested in artwork that embodies these themes in unique, creative, and professional ways.

Up to 30 artists will be chosen to participate in the online group exhibition running April 1 - June 30, 2025. Entry fee is $25 for up to 5 artworks, with an additional $10 for up to 5 more artworks. Artists must submit 5-10 high-resolution images. All selected artworks must be available for sale, with the gallery taking a 30% commission on sales. One artist will be chosen to showcase their work at the San Francisco Art Fair April 17-20, 2025. Awards include: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners receive free Artsy membership until July 15 and an online solo exhibition on Artsy; Gallery Choice award includes free participation in the San Francisco Art Fair Spring 2025 (artwork limited to 18 inches height and 14 inches width); 4th-6th place receive merit awards. Selected artists receive free membership until July 15.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and able to ship artwork within and outside the US. All visual art media are accepted, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, 3D art, digital art, collage, and textile art. If accepted, artists must provide high-resolution images under 5MB and a bio. All images must be available for sale exclusively on Artsy for the first four weeks of the exhibition. If artwork is sold outside Artsy after that period, artist notification is required. Artists chosen for the San Francisco Art Fair must be able to ship/deliver artwork to and from the fair (artists may refuse participation until April 1st).
