About This Call
The Rymer Gallery announces its First Annual Directors Choice Juried Exhibition: UNITS OF MEASURE. All works will be anonymously reviewed and selected for exhibition by Rymer Gallery Director Natalie Dunham.
Eligibility: Open to all US and International artists at least 25 years of age. Original artwork in all media will be considered, except video. Artwork should not exceed 4' x 4' x 4' in dimension and should not exceed 50 lbs in weight. All artwork must have been created in the last 3 years and should arrive ready for installation (wired or framed). Artwork will be insured and available for sale while in the gallery, with a 50% commission on sold works. Artists are responsible for delivery to and from the gallery. Artwork will not be hung if damaged in transit or if misrepresented in images. No artwork shall be removed prior to the end of the exhibition.
Entry deadline: May 31, 2013. Notification of acceptance: June 7, 2013. Artworks delivered June 27-29 (11:00am-5:00pm CST). Show opens July 6, 2013 with reception from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the First Saturday Art Crawl. Hand-delivered artworks picked up July 30-August 1 (11:00am-5:00pm central). Shipped artwork will be sent out as soon as possible, arranged by artist with gallery. Entry fee: $25.00. Submit 1-3 images.
