Firehouse Art Center Open Call for 2025-2026 Exhibitions

The Firehouse Art Center is accepting applications for its 2025-2026 exhibition calendar. The center is Longmont's leading contemporary art center featuring national, regional, and local artists. The National Historic Landmark building features two exhibition spaces with over 1,000 square feet of space, focusing on accessible contemporary art that engages curiosity and conversation. Admission is free and the center serves over 10,000 visitors annually.

The exhibitions committee consists of artists, art administrators, business professionals, curators, and art collectors. Preference is given to submissions that are culturally relevant with a unique perspective and ability to provide diverse art experiences. Cutting-edge contemporary work and multi-disciplinary artists are strongly encouraged. Group exhibitions and curatorial proposals are welcomed, as well as solo exhibition proposals from established and emerging artists in all mediums, including installation, film, and performance art.

Eligibility: Open to all artists in the continental US. Entry fee is $35.00. Applicants may submit up to 3 applications. Work samples must include a minimum of 5 images and maximum of 10 total samples (images, audio, and/or video combined). Up to 3 audio files and 3 video files are permitted. All materials must be submitted online via the CaFÉ system. Digital images should be labeled as Lastname_Firstname_Title.jpg. If submitting audio or video files, they must be submitted last in the image sequence, not as the first image.
