Firehouse Art Center 2017 Call for Artists - All Mediums

The Firehouse Art Center, housed in a National Historic Landmark building, features two exhibition spaces with over 1,000 square feet of space. The center seeks submissions from established and emerging artists working in all mediums. Multidisciplinary artists are encouraged to apply. Group exhibitions, curatorial proposals, and solo exhibition proposals are welcomed; the center may combine several artists into one exhibition.

Jurors will evaluate submissions based on cultural relevance, unique perspective, and ability to provide a diverse art experience. Contemporary work that is thought-provoking and cutting-edge is encouraged. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Entry fee is $30.00. Submissions must include a minimum of 6 images and a maximum of 10 total samples (6 images, up to 2 audio files, and up to 2 video files). The mission of the Firehouse Art Center is to raise cultural awareness and understanding of the arts in the regional community through classes for all ages, lectures, events, and visual art exhibits of regional and national artists.
