Finest Art Showcase San Diego

Art Scene West presents the Finest Art Showcase San Diego, an exhibition of fine art of the highest caliber. Up to 60 artists will have their artwork juried, promoted, and showcased at the Art Scene West online gallery and at a live event on June 29th, 2024. Selected artwork will be exhibited online from June 1st through August 31st, 2024, and the live event will take place at Marina Village Conference Center in San Diego, California. Selected artists will receive their own artist page on the Art Scene West website featuring their artist bio, personal statement, artist photo, and artwork. Artists will benefit from social media, email, and local promotional campaigns. Select artists may also be invited to become Art Scene West Gallery Artists full time. An archive of the show will be permanently available on the Art Scene West website.

The submission deadline is April 21st, 2024. There is a $35 submission fee. Selected artists will be notified on May 6th, 2024 and must pay a $75 participation fee to cover artwork handling, website uploading, and live event curation. Artwork delivery deadline is June 20th, 2024. Unsold artwork will be shipped back to artists beginning September 1st. Fees are non-refundable.

Awards include jury selections for 1st Place (Best in Show), 2nd Place, and 3rd Place, plus three Honorable Mentions. Curator selections include "Stand Out," "Rising Star," and "Artist Spotlight." This is an open call for artworks of all styles and various sizes, accepting both 2D and 3D work. 2D artworks must not exceed 4ft x 6ft and must be dry upon delivery with appropriate hanging mechanism. 3D artworks must include their own base, not exceed 50 pounds, and fit within 3ft width by 3ft height. All artworks must be original creations available for sale and ready to ship. A single artwork may not exceed three parts. Multiple submissions by an artist are allowed as separate submissions.
