About This Call
The 21st Annual Fine Art at the Village is sponsored by the Village Fine Art Gallery and located in an upscale outdoor shopping center in Rochester Hills, MI. Rochester Hills was voted by Money Magazine as the 9th best small town in the USA and is home to a young, well-educated clientele with disposable income who support the arts. The art fair charges zero gate fee and zero for parking, and features local free entertainment.
The fair accepts 100 artists with extensive advertising in various media and publicity handled by a respected public relations firm. Artist amenities include recognition awards, free patron parking, no admission fee, easy drive-up booth setup, food coupons, and the benefit of director Donna Beaubien's years of experience with major art festivals. Medium categories include ceramics, drawing, digital prints, fiber/leather, glass, graphics, jewelry, metalsmith, painting, photography, sculpture, wood, 2D mixed media, 3D mixed media, and other.
Application fee is $25 with $10 for each additional category. Booth sizes are 10x10 ($295) and 10x20 ($580) with optional corner fees of $50. Artists must be present with their work for the duration of the festival, exhibit only in their accepted medium, and are responsible for 6% Michigan sales tax collection. All work must be designed and executed by the exhibiting artist, with reproductions of original paintings not exceeding 25%. Setup dates are July 25, 2025 (approximately 5pm) and July 26, 2025 (approximately 7am). Refund deadline is April 25, 2025 with full booth fee refund minus $50 handling fee if cancelled by that date.
