About This Call
Files & Film 2020 is a juried photographic art show open to Florida residents. The entry fee is $35 for up to 5 entries, with an additional $5 per image for up to 5 more entries (maximum 10 entries total). Artists must submit between 5 and 10 images.
Submission guidelines require that all images be 100% original work created after January 1, 2018. Florida residency proof is required unless the artist has been previously exhibited by Files & Film. Artwork size is limited to 6 feet on the long side; artists with oversized work should note if they are flexible on size. All artwork must be for sale, with a 40% commission to The Studio@620 Gallery. Detailed descriptions of format, medium, and presentation details must be provided for each image.
The exhibition will be held at The Studio@620 in St. Pete. Drop-off is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th and Monday, April 27th (times TBD). The opening is May 2nd, with pickup required by May 30th. Awards include Best of Show ($400), three Juror's Choice awards ($200 each), People's Choice ($100), three Awards of Excellence, and three Awards of Distinction. Jurors are Katherine Pill, Danny Olda, and Chad Mize.
