Figurative Art National Juried Exhibition

Figurative Art National Juried Exhibition seeks realistic or abstract art featuring the human form and/or portrait in any media, including computer art and sculpture. No video works. US artists age 18 and up are eligible to submit original art from the last three years.

Entry fee is $35 for a minimum of two images, with a $5 fee for each additional entry up to a maximum of five entries. Submission deadline is January 3, 2021. Selected artists will be notified on January 6, 2021. Artwork must be shipped or hand delivered between January 6-26, 2021. The exhibition runs January 26 through February 20, 2021, with a closing reception on February 20, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the DMAC gallery.

2D artwork size limit is 48 inches wide and 72 inches tall. 3D artwork size limit is 24x24 inches with 72 inches height and 40 lb weight limit, and must be able to be handled and set up by one person. Accepted media includes drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, photography, printmaking, computer art, ceramic, glass, bronze, and steel. All 2D art must be suitably presentable and ready for hanging or display. Framed works may have glass or plexiglass and must have suitable hanging wire or D rings. The exhibition offers $1500 in total cash awards including Juror's Choice, Honorable Mentions, Director's Choice, and People's Choice. The juror is Director Jerry Smith. DMAC will encourage sales and connect artists to patrons for private sales without taking commission.
