About This Call
Artlink is accepting submissions for a juried group exhibition titled "Fight Club." All visual media are welcome, and any artist 18 or older residing in the United States is eligible.
The exhibition invites artists to explore moments of friction: misunderstandings, arguments, contradictions, power struggles, resistance, and unresolved tension. Artists may examine opposing ideas, internal conflicts, social divides, ethical dilemmas, or quiet standoffs. This might include visual arguments within a single piece, clashes of materials or processes, competing narratives, or imagery revealing contradiction beneath the surface. Subtle tension is as welcome as overt confrontation. Artists may interpret the theme broadly—political, personal, psychological, or structural—from interpersonal disputes to ideological battles, from satire to sincerity.
Entry fee is $12.00, with an additional $12.00 media fee. Artists may submit up to 10 total work samples (images, audio, and/or video combined). The juror is Jen Brown, Development Coordinator for Artlink Contemporary Gallery. If accepted, artwork must be available during the exhibition timeframe (May 7 - June 7, 2026) and ready for installation. All accepted artworks must arrive at Artlink no later than April 26, 2026. Artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales commission. Artlink will insure artwork during exhibition but is not liable for damage or loss in transit. Artists are responsible for return shipping costs.
