FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City Host City Poster Design Contest - Phase Two Finalists

The FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City Host City Poster Design Contest invites artists to create a poster commemorating the FIFA World Cup 26™ coming to Kansas City. The poster should express a shared love of sports while capturing how the community works together, celebrates victories, and unites as the heart of the nation.

The Poster Selection Task Force has narrowed submissions to five finalists. All finalists will refine their submitted design sketch with direction from the committee and will receive a creative toolkit including the official logo, font, colors, and poster specifications. Each of the five finalists will be awarded $1,000. The final designs will be sent to FIFA, and the winner will be selected and announced in 2025, receiving an additional $10,000 compensation.

Final poster designs must be 23.39 inches x 29.96 inches in portrait format and include the Official Event Title (FIFA World Cup 26™, June 11-July 19) in FWC26Ultra Condensed Black font and the Host City Logo in full color. Submissions must include a high-resolution print PDF file (300-dpi or vector artwork) delivered as layered files in both CMYK and RGB formats, along with a presentation explaining the concept and creation process, demonstrations of design extensions, and any additional content showing the creative process. Disqualifying elements include stadium imagery, FIFA registered assets, brand likenesses, AI-generated art, political or religious marks, missing poster copy requirements, and multiple poster submissions. Eligibility requires residency in Missouri or Kansas and being 18 years or older. The deadline to enter is December 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
