Fiberart International 2025 Call for Entry

Fiberart International 2025 (Fi2025) seeks to exhibit the best of contemporary art and invites submissions that reflect a wide range of works related to the fiber medium. The exhibition is recognized around the world as a benchmark that documents trends and innovations in the field. The goal is to include innovative work rooted in traditional fiber materials, structure, processes and history, as well as art that explores unexpected relationships between fiber and other creative disciplines. The 25th edition will be organized and presented by Contemporary Craft in partnership with Brew House Arts, featuring works by established and emerging artists at both venues.

Eligibility is open to exceptionally talented artists at any career stage who reside in the United States or abroad and are 18 years or older. Entries must be original work completed after July 1, 2023, either fiber in content or executed in a fiber technique. Work must not exceed 12 feet in height or width. Only one artwork per application is allowed. The entry fee is $45. Submissions must include a resume (2-page maximum PDF), artist statement (1000 characters maximum), and 2-5 images (JPEG only, up to 5MB, minimum 1200 pixels on longest side). Audio and video files are also accepted. All accepted work must be for sale, with Contemporary Craft/Brew House Arts receiving a 50% commission.

The submission deadline is July 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of jurors' decisions will be sent by September 30, 2024. Accepted work is due by March 15, 2025. The exhibition runs May 30 - August 30, 2025 at Contemporary Craft and June 20 - August 30, 2025 at Brew House Arts. Contemporary Craft will present a $5,000 cash award to the winning entry. Artists selected as finalists are responsible for one-way transportation to Contemporary Craft; return transportation and insurance are covered by the organization.
