Fiber Reimagined II

Fiber Reimagined II is a call for entry for original innovative art created from fiber and recycled and repurposed mixed media. Artwork must include a fiber component or textile technique. Artworks must be of original design completed after January 1, 2020. The entry deadline is February 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fee is $30 for up to three entries; Fiber Art Now subscribers receive a discounted rate of $20 with code FR2024. International artists are eligible to enter.

This juried exhibition will appear in the summer issue of Fiber Art Now to be released in early July 2024. Artworks juried into the exhibition will be eligible for the onsite exhibition at Gravers Lane Gallery and GLG@1213 Walnut, both in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, August 1 through September 20, 2024. Gravers Lane Gallery specializes in contemporary crafts, painting, and sculpture with an emphasis on contemporary 2D and 3D textile and fiber art, one-of-a-kind jewelry, studio furniture, ceramics, and mixed media art.

Artists may submit up to three individual works of art. Images must be full images only (no detail images) and 5MB or less with no dimension restrictions. For each entry, provide title, materials, technique, dimensions (Height x Width x Depth in inches), year completed, insurance value, retail value, photo credit, and artist statement. Juried selections will include only one artwork per artist. Prizes will be awarded: First prize $300, Second prize $250, and Third prize $200. Notification of acceptance will appear in your CAFE account by March 30, 2024. The exhibition will be juried by the Fiber Art Now creative team.
