About This Call

The 31st Annual Festival of the Arts takes place October 25-26 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin, Florida. This juried show features artists from around the United States working in Watercolor, Acrylic, Clay, Mosaic, Metal, Jewelry, Sculpture, Photography, Oil, Pastel, Collage, Pen & Ink, Glass, Wood, Paper, Mixed Media, Pottery, Resin, Ceramics, Fiber, and Original Digital Art. The festival includes continuous live music, artist demonstrations, art projects for children, and local cuisine. Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation awards $12,000 in cash prizes including Best in Show, People's Choice Award, Awards of Excellence, Awards of Merit, and Judge's Recognition Awards.

The festival is limited to 105 juried artists and expects attendance of 6,000 quality art buyers. Amenities include color image in program and website artist preview, exceptional artist hospitality, easy Friday load-in with drive-to-booth access, discounted hotel rooms, free on-site parking, complimentary continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday, artist award dinner Saturday evening, booth sitter availability, overnight security, artist ticket to Friday night Arty Party kick-off event, water service, indoor bathroom facilities, and continuous live music and entertainment with food trucks and beverages.

Artists must submit 4 high-resolution JPG images (3 of work, 1 professional booth setup image). All artwork must be original fine art or fine craft, completely designed and produced by the maker. No mass-produced, commercially molded, or AI-generated work is permitted. Only 25% maximum reproductions of original work allowed for sale. Artists must be at least 18 years old and present during the show. Each artist provides their own white 10x10 tent, staked and weighted. Jury fee is $30; booth spaces are $350 (single), $400 (corner, limited), or $700 (double, limited). Load-in is Friday, October 23, 8am-7pm. Refunds with $50 processing fee are available before August 31, 2026; no refunds after that date or for weather-related cancellations.
