FEMME

FEMME is an online exhibition celebrating the feminine spirit in all its complexities and contradictions. The call seeks artwork that celebrates women, their allure, and their place in humanity. Artists are invited to show what FEMME means to them through their perspective.

The exhibition is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art (video excluded). Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Artwork previously exhibited in Art Fluent shows will not be selected again. Submissions must be in JPEG format at 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Artists may submit 1-20 images. Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry; payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, additional detail shots do not require additional fees and can be sent by email to [email protected].

Accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include First Place ($500), Second Place ($200), and Third Place ($100). All submitting artists will be notified of selections by email on the notification date. Artists receive 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
