FEMINIST INSIGHT: Telling Her Story

Ellington-White Contemporary Gallery invites submissions for Feminist Insight: Telling Her Story, a six-week exhibition examining roles of women now and in the past, progress towards gender equality, and outlook for the future of womankind. The exhibition will have two parts: a physical gallery exhibition and an online exhibition. All selected artwork will exhibit online, and the exhibition juror will select certain works to be exhibited in the gallery.

Eligibility: Open to all artists residing in the United States who are 18 years and older. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Ellington-White Contemporary. Artists may submit up to three images for a non-refundable entry fee of $35. Digital submissions are accepted via CaFE beginning January 7, 2022, with a deadline of February 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Work samples must be uploaded without borders or text that is not part of the original work.

Accepted works designated for gallery display must arrive ready to install by March 12, 2022. Shipped work should be packed in reusable containers without Styrofoam peanuts and must be accompanied with a prepaid return-shipping label. Hand deliveries may be made March 9-12, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. by appointment. The exhibition runs March 16 - April 30, 2022, with an artists reception on Saturday, March 19th from 2-4 p.m. Work pick-up is available May 4-7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment.
