About This Call

Gallerium invites visual artists worldwide to apply for Femina 2024, the 3rd annual exhibition and publication celebrating International Women's Day and raising awareness for women's achievements, rights, and equality. Artists working in any medium are encouraged to share their artistic expression about women, with focus areas including womanhood, women's emotions and happiness, women's freedom and rights, gender equality, violence against women, women in the post-COVID era, women's careers and leadership, motherhood, and women in history, science, technology, and education.

Selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Femina publication and showcased in the Femina 2024 international online group exhibition from March 8 to April 8, 2024. The online version of the book will be available for free, while high-quality print versions can be ordered through print-on-demand service. Selected artworks will also be promoted for sales via the online exhibition link, and all selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue available in both online and print formats. Artists will receive a digital sharable exhibition poster, a lifelong link to boost online visibility, digital social media promotional badges, exhibition visitor reviews and ratings, a report with analytics and engagement statistics, a digital certificate, and a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform.

Submission is free. Only selected artists pay a fixed selection fee of USD 40, with a money-back guarantee option until the exhibition opening day. Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks accepted per artist. The call is open to all visual artists worldwide working in any medium, including painting, drawing, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media. Artworks must be original, created by the entrant without instructor supervision, and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, with no size limits. Artworks that include pornography, violence, racial or religious hatred, or inappropriate or offensive content are not admissible.
