About This Call
The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the February Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in operation for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.
This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces per artist to exhibit. Artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang. Maximum artwork display area is 48" width x 72" height. Entry fee is $30 for up to 5 entries. Applicants must submit 3-5 images of their work.
The exhibition runs Wednesday, February 2nd through Thursday, February 24th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on February 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Commission on sales is 75% to the artist and 25% to the gallery. Local artists should deliver work Friday, January 28th or Saturday, January 29th (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). National artists may ship work with prepaid return labels using FedEx, UPS, or USPS in reusable cartons. Artwork pickup is Friday, February 25th or Saturday, February 26th (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the closing date. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work. Artwork not picked up within 30 days of the show's closing will be donated to charity.
