About This Call
February Group Art Show at Jones Gallery runs from Thursday, February 5th through Thursday, February 27th, 2020. Entry fee is $17. Artists may submit 3-5 images of work with a maximum artwork size of 48" width x 72" height. The gallery is open to national artists.
Artists receive 75% of sales, with the gallery retaining 25%. Patrons purchase art directly from the gallery, and the gallery pays artists by Wednesday, March 4th. Art purchased during the show may be taken by the patron at time of payment. A First Friday Artist Reception will be held February 7th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, free for the general public. Local artists are required to attend the reception and participate for its entirety or better part of it, and must remain on the floor of their art to engage with the public. Out-of-state artists are not required to attend.
Local artists must deliver work Friday, January 31st (11:00 am to 7:00 pm) or Saturday, February 1st (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). Pick-up is Friday, February 28th (11:00 am to 7:00 pm) or Saturday, February 29th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). All artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang. Artists must create two tags per piece (one for back, one for wall display) labeled with artist name, title, medium, and price, no larger than 3.5" x 5". National artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipments must include a prepaid return shipping label using FED EX. Artwork must be shipped in strong, reusable cartons or crates with reusable packing material. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the closing date.
