February Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for its February Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week. The exhibition runs from Wednesday, February 1st through Thursday, February 23rd, with a First Friday Artist Reception on February 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers 18 years of age or older. All artwork must be original and for sale. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces per artist to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. Maximum artwork display size is 48" width x 72" height. The entry fee is $30.00.

Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Payments will be made by Wednesday, March 1st. Artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags per piece (one for the back, one for wall display) labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Local artists are requested to be present during the First Friday reception. Local delivery and pick-up dates are January 27-28 and February 24-25 (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists may ship artwork with prepaid return shipping labels; FedEx is preferred, though UPS and USPS are accepted. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks of the closing date.
