Fearlessly and Wonderfully Created Fine Art Show and Sale

Fearlessly and Wonderfully Created (FWC), presented by Beacon Capital Management, is a juried fine art show and sale benefiting Saddle Up! (SU!) of Nashville, Tennessee. Thirty percent of all art sales will be donated to Saddle Up! to support its mission of serving children and young adults with disabilities through therapeutic, educational, and recreational experiences with horses. Saddle Up! serves riders with over 50 documented disabilities including physical, intellectual, and developmental challenges.

The in-person event will be held Thursday, April 20th through Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, at The Gallery at West End United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee, directly adjacent to Vanderbilt University. A preshow and post-show online feature will be available to artists who wish to participate. Artists are welcome to be present for any part of the show, but attendance is not required. The event is open to the public, and selected works will be exhibited and promoted for sale.

Submissions of original two-dimensional artwork are welcome in all subject matter, genres, and styles, provided they are appropriate for all ages. Permitted mediums include oil, acrylic, water-soluble paints, pastels, charcoal, and ink. Mixed media is permitted. No photographs, reproductions, sculpture, photography, digital art, or crafts. Maximum size must not exceed 1,200 square inches (30" x 40"). Works must be framed with solid wood construction or gallery-wrapped canvases, properly wired and ready for hanging. Frames must not exceed 3" in width and 48" in either direction. Submit 5 to 7 images via CAFÉ by January 16th, 2023. Entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). Each painting is evaluated individually and may be selected or rejected independently. Acceptance notification will be announced by January 20th, 2023.

All selected paintings must be for sale. The sale split is 70% to the artist and 30% to Saddle Up!. A predetermined retail sales price must be provided at submission and cannot be changed after selection. Artists' portions of sales will be paid by check within 2 weeks of the show's close. Selected works must be received by April 18th, 2023, via local delivery to The Gallery at West End United Methodist Church (2200 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203) on April 18th or 19th between 10:00-3:00, or shipped to Saddle Up! (1549 Old Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN 37069). Out-of-town artists must include a pre-paid return shipping label. FWC is not responsible for damage during shipment.
