FCPS Juried Member Show

This is a juried exhibition for FCPS members working in dry pastels. Eligible entries must be original works completed in the last two years that have not been shown in previous FCPS Juried Member Shows. Work done under supervision such as in a workshop or class is not eligible. Mixed media must be 80% dry pastel.

Paintings must be framed, under glass or Plexiglas, and ready for hanging with picture wire (no saw tooth hangers). The maximum size is 28 inches including frame on any side. Nudes may be submitted, though the gallery may reject any work deemed inappropriate. An entry is a commitment to show, and no paintings may be removed prior to the close of the exhibition. Artists may submit up to 3 entries. Entry fees are $25 for 1 work, $40 for 2 works, or $50 for 3 works.

Submissions must include high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. For shipped work, use sturdy packing with Plexiglass recommended, include a pre-paid return shipping label, and attach an exhibition label to the back of the painting. Shipped artwork must be received no later than May 30. Include a $15 check payable to Carron Wedlund for handling. Current membership with no outstanding fines or overdue items is required.
