FCPS Juried Member Show

This is a juried exhibition for members of FCPS. Eligible entries are original dry pastel works completed in the last two years that have not been shown in previous FCPS Juried Member Shows. Work done under supervision such as in a workshop or class is not eligible. Mixed media must be 80% dry pastel. Paintings must be framed, under glass or Plexiglas, ready for hanging with picture wire (no saw tooth hangers). The maximum size of any painting, including frame, is 26" on any side. Nudes may be submitted; however, the gallery may reject any work it deems inappropriate. An entry is a commitment to show, and no paintings may be removed prior to the close of the show. You may submit up to 3 entries.

Entry fees are $25 for 1 work, $40 for 2 works, or $50 for 3 works. Entries must be submitted by April 24, 2023. For shipped artwork, use a sturdy packing case and include a pre-paid return shipping label and a $15 check payable to Carron Wedlund for handling. Plexiglass is recommended for shipped work. Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork itself without matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile. Your membership must be current with no outstanding fines or overdue items from the FCPS library.
