FAVA's Art Fair in the Square 2025

FAVA's Art Fair in the Square is the 3rd annual outdoor art fair hosted by the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts in partnership with the City of Oberlin. The event takes place on September 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Tappan Square (67 N Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074). Rain or shine, with no rain date.

Artists and craftspeople of all mediums are invited to apply, including individual artists, guilds, art clubs, and craftspeople. Each booth space is 10' x 10'. The application fee is $60 (use coupon code EARLY25 on or before April 30, 2025 for $10 off). The application deadline is July 2, 2025. Applicants must submit 3-6 images of their work, including examples of work and at least one of display if available. Acceptances will be confirmed by August 10, 2025, with early applications notified earlier.

All work must be original, handcrafted work that complies with the specified media definitions. Commercially manufactured items are not acceptable. Artists must exhibit for the full duration of the fair and man their exhibits during festival hours. Setup begins at 7:00 AM on September 13th and must be completed by 10:00 AM. Vendor check-in is from 7:00-9:00 AM at the FAVA table in Tappan Square. Artists must provide their own display booths, tables, racks, and chairs, and should prepare for inclement weather by bringing weights or stakes for tents. No on-site gas-powered generators or amplified music are permitted. Electricity is not available for exhibitors.

Amenities include free parking, artist hospitality with morning coffee, water, snacks throughout the day, and access to indoor restrooms at FAVA Gallery (39 S Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074). Booth numbers will be assigned by August 14, 2025. Accepted art categories include 2D and 3D mixed media, candle and soap making, ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal smithing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood, and other. Non-profit booths are available in limited quantities. FAVA urges exhibitors to demonstrate their craft if possible. No refunds of application fees will be made for cancellations.
