FAVA's Art Fair in the Square 2024

Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA), in partnership with the City of Oberlin, invites artists and craftspeople of all mediums to participate in the 2nd annual FAVA's Art Fair in the Square. The event takes place on September 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Tappan Square (67 N Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074). Rain or shine, with no rain date.

Artists and craftspeople, guilds, and art clubs are eligible to apply. The application fee is $35.00, with a deadline of July 3, 2024. Applicants must submit 3-6 images of their work, including examples of display if available. Accepted applications will be approved by August 7th, with early applications potentially notified earlier. Each artist receives one 10' x 10' booth space for the sale of handmade items. Setup begins at 7:00 AM with vendor check-in from 7:00-9:00 AM, and setup must be completed by 10:00 AM.

All work must be original and handcrafted, complying with the specified media definitions (2D/3D mixed media, ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metalsmithing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood, and other). Commercially manufactured items are not acceptable. Artists must exhibit for the full duration of the fair and man their exhibits during festival hours. Artists provide their own display booths, tables, racks, and chairs, and must prepare for inclement weather. No on-site gas-powered generators or amplified music are permitted. Electricity is not available. Hospitality including coffee, water, snacks, and restroom access is provided at FAVA Gallery (39 S Main St, Oberlin, OH 44074). Free parking is available.
