Fashion Meets the Body: Juried KSU Faculty Exhibition

This juried exhibition is open to all KSU faculty. All work must relate to the theme "Fashion meets the body." Innovative two- and three-dimensional artwork using technology, mixed media, and fiber is encouraged. Individual and collaborative entries are invited. Each entry must be an original work completed after April 2012.

Up to three entries per artist can be submitted online through CaFÉ at www.callforentry.org. The entry fee is $15 per artist. Submissions are accepted from December 1, 2017 through March 1, 2018 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time Zone. Each artwork may include up to 4 images (maximum 12 images per submission). Images must be in JPEG format, up to 5MB with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side and 72 ppi/dpi resolution. For three-dimensional work, include one full front view, one close-up detail view, and one back view. Audio (AIFF, WAV, XMF, MP3, under 10MB, minimum 96 bit rate) and video (3GP, WMV, AVI, MOV, ASF, MPG, MP4, M2T, MKV, M2TS, under 100MB, minimum 640 x 480 resolution, minimum 12 fps) submissions are also accepted.

Artists whose work is selected will be notified by April 30, 2018. A signed loan agreement must be returned to KSUM prior to transmitting work (deadline June 28, 2018). Local artists may arrange to drop off work at KSUM by contacting Joanne Fenn at [email protected] or 330-672-0305. Out-of-town artists should ship work to: Attn: Joanne Fenn, Kent State University Museum, 515 Hilltop Dr., Kent, OH 44242-0001, with pre-paid return shipping included. Upon acceptance, artists must provide a high-resolution (300dpi) digital photo, artist bio (50 words maximum), and artist statement (100 words maximum) for the full-color exhibition catalog. The exhibition runs September 28, 2018 through September 1, 2019.
