Fantastic Fibers 2022

Yeiser Art Center is accepting entries for the Fantastic Fibers 2022 international juried exhibition. This exhibition showcases contemporary works related to the fiber medium. Contemporary and innovative works created with fiber as the primary medium or concept are welcome. The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and over working in the field of fiber art. All work submitted must be original, completed in the last three years, and not previously exhibited in a Fantastic Fibers exhibition. There are no size restrictions. Up to three separate pieces per artist are permitted with an entry fee of $45 to cover all entries.

Awards totaling $2,000 will be presented: $1,000 Best of Show, $500 First Place, $300 Second Place, and $200 Third Place. The reception will be held with awards announced during the event; artists do not need to be present to win. The exhibition will be on display at Yeiser Art Center from April 19th to June 18th, 2022. Work is due at Yeiser Art Center by April 8th, 2022 at 5pm. Notification of acceptance will be sent by March 16th, 2022.

Sales will be encouraged where works are offered for purchase, but work need not be for sale to enter. Yeiser Art Center will keep a 40% commission on all gallery sales. Work will be insured for the duration of the exhibition for the value of the work, or 60% of the retail price. Artists are responsible for insuring their work during transit to and from the Yeiser. The juror is Matt Collinsworth, CEO of the National Quilt Museum.
