Fall Small Works Show

Kansas City Stockyards Gallery invites artists to participate in the 4th Annual Fall Small Works Show. The gallery is located in the historic Livestock Exchange Building in Kansas City's Stockyards district on the first floor with windows and parking lot access.

Artists can submit any style, medium, or subject matter, with the only requirement being that artwork be 14" or less in all dimensions. The gallery prefers family-friendly themes with no pornography or graphic violence. All artwork must be original and available for sale. 2D artwork must be framed and wired on the back, ready to hang (the frame does not count toward the 14" limit). The gallery provides pedestals for sculptures; artists with wearable art or pieces with unique display requirements are encouraged to provide their own stands or displays.

The show reception is November 20th, 5-8 p.m., with the exhibition running November 20th through January 8th. Artwork drop-off is Friday, November 13th, 1-5 p.m. and Saturday, November 14th, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Unsold work pickup is Friday, January 8th, 1-5 p.m. and Saturday, January 9th, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The gallery takes a 40% commission from sold work, with artists paid within 30 days of the show's end. Out-of-town artists must cover shipping costs to and from the gallery and are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance. Artists are responsible for insuring their work, as the gallery is not responsible for theft or damage before, during, or after the show. Entry fee is $10.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 1-10 images of your work.
