About This Call
The City of O'Fallon, Missouri invites artists and high-end crafters to submit their work to the 2019 Fall Into the Arts art fair. Artists and crafters in both the folk and fine-art tradition are eligible. This annual art show and sale is celebrating its inaugural year and will be held on Saturday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at O'Day Park. The event is free and open to the public, with up to thirty artists selected to exhibit and sell their work.
Art must be original work created within the past three years and priced for sale at fair market value. Artwork priced over $2,000 will not be accepted. Each artist may submit one entry per artist or group booth. An artist biography of 1,000 words or less must be submitted with the application and will be displayed in the program. Artwork entered into the show must be the same artwork submitted in the online review; substitutions will not be accepted.
The selection process uses a two-phase jury system. Phase 1 involves jury review of digital images (JPEG format), biographical information, and other documentation to pre-select up to 60 applicants. Phase 2 is an in-person jury of the remaining applicants using the same materials as Phase 1. Applicants must submit 6-10 digital images of their work in JPEG format. For questions, contact [email protected].
