About This Call
ColoradoArtShows.com presents the 8th Annual Fall Fest in Dillon, a juried fine art and fine craft show taking place during Labor Day weekend in the heart of Dillon's downtown area. This 2-day event (no show on Labor Day Monday) will accept up to 100 artists, ensuring a curated and high-quality selection. Dillon attracts visitors from Breckenridge, Frisco, Silverthorne, Keystone, and beyond, making it an excellent venue to engage a diverse and affluent audience in Summit County, Colorado, which boasts an average home value of $907,853.
The show accepts all forms of original fine art and fine crafts including painting, sculpture, metal, glass, printmaking/drawing, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, wood, fiber and photography. Artists must submit 4 digital images of their work and 1 image of their display. The application fee is $50 per category (non-refundable), and booth fees range from $499 for a single 10x10 space to $1,125 for a double 10x20 with 2 corners. Artists must be present to exhibit and display only their own original work, with picture ID required at check-in.
Key benefits include a built-in audience from the Dillon Farmer's Market taking place the Friday before the show, avoiding the historically slow Labor Day Monday, and affordable booth pricing compared to other Labor Day weekend events. The jury process involves 4 jurors scoring applications on a 1-10 scale, with an average of 120 applications submitted and 80 artists selected annually.
