About This Call
The Fall Arts Invitational at Cheesman Park is located in one of Denver's most prestigious neighborhoods, situated adjacent to the renowned Cherry Creek district. This premier art event will be held in the scenic, well-maintained park surrounding the walking path, offering a perfect fall setting for both artists and attendees. Timed strategically after the Evergreen Elk & Arts Festival, this event will capitalize on the vibrant atmosphere of Denver during the first weeks of fall.
The event accepts all forms of original fine art and fine crafts including painting, sculpture, metal, glass, printmaking/drawing, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, wood, fiber and photography. Artists must be present to exhibit and exhibit only their own original work with no exceptions. A picture ID will be required at check-in and only white tents are allowed. Booth options include single 10x10 ($475), single 10x10 with corner ($575), double 10x20 ($950), double 10x20 with corner ($1050), and double 10x20 with 2 corners ($1150).
The jury process involves 4 jurors scoring applications on a 1-10 scale, with an average of 140 applications submitted each year and 100 artists selected to participate. Applications are viewed on computer monitors and sorted by application received date. Returning artists are selected based on history of participation. No refunds are given for cancellations after acceptance.
