Falkirk Cultural Center Spring 2020 Open Juried Exhibition

Open to artists residing within the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area. Submit up to 3 separate pieces of original work completed in the past two years, not previously shown at Falkirk Cultural Center. All media accepted except jewelry or videography. Entry fee is $40 for up to three entries. Only digitally uploaded images will be accepted, with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 digital images per submission. Exhibition dates: March 13 - April 10, 2020. Entry deadline: February 13, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Size and weight limitations: 2D artwork maximum 60 x 60 inches, not exceeding 30 pounds; 3D artwork maximum 48 x 48 x 48 inches, not exceeding 70 pounds. All works on paper must be framed. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with hanging wires attached. 3D artwork must be stable and ready to display. Diptychs and triptychs count as one piece.

Awards: Opening Reception & Juror Awards on Friday, March 13, 5-8 p.m. with prizes of $100 (1st), $75 (2nd), and $50 (3rd). Closing Reception & People's Choice Awards on Friday, April 10, 5-8 p.m. Accepted entries notification by email by Monday, February 17, 2020. Hand delivery of accepted artwork only on Monday, March 2, 2020 between 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Falkirk Cultural Center retains 30% commission on all sales. Work is not insured while on Falkirk premises.
