Falkirk Galleries 2016 Fall Open Juried Art Exhibition

Open to artists residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Submit up to 3 separate pieces of original work completed in the past two years, not previously shown in a Falkirk Cultural Center exhibition. All media except jewelry accepted. Only digitally uploaded images will be accepted. Entry fee is $40 for up to three entries.

Submission deadline is Sunday, September 4, 2016 at midnight PST. Notifications of acceptance will be made via email by Thursday, September 8, 2016. Accepted artwork must be hand-delivered between September 9-17, 2016. Exhibition runs Thursday, September 22 through Friday, November 4, 2016, with an opening artist reception on September 22 from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

Size limitations: 2D artwork maximum 60 x 60 inches, total weight not to exceed 30 pounds; 3D artwork maximum 48 x 48 x 48 inches, not to exceed 70 pounds. All works on paper must be framed. All 2D artwork must have hanging wires attached with D-rings, mirror hangers, or interior-mounted screw-eyes. Diptychs and triptychs count as one piece and may not exceed 144 inches in width or 96 inches in height. Jurors are Elisabeth Setten and Stan Gibbs from Artworks Downtown. Awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Honorary Awards. Work will not be insured while on Falkirk premises.
