Falkirk Cultural Center 2017 Fall Juried Art Exhibition

Open to artists residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Submit up to 3 separate pieces of original work completed in the past two years, not previously shown in a Falkirk Cultural Center exhibition. Open to all media except jewelry and installation. Only digitally uploaded images will be accepted.

Submission deadline: Thursday, July 20, 2017 at midnight PST. Entry fee: $40 for up to three entries. Submit 1 digital image per 2D or 3D work, labeled with your name and title of work. Notifications of acceptance will be made via email by Saturday, July 22, 2017. Exhibition dates: August 11 - September 29, 2017. Opening reception: Friday, August 11, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Size limitations: 2D artwork maximum 60 x 60 inches, total weight not to exceed 30 pounds. 3D artwork maximum 48 x 48 x 48 inches, not to exceed 70 pounds. All works on paper must be framed. All 2D artwork must have hanging wires attached with D-rings, mirror hangers, or interior-mounted screw-eyes. All 3D artwork must be stable and ready to display. Hand delivery only: Sunday, July 30, 2017 (9:00 am - 12:00 pm), Tuesday, August 1, 2017 (1:00 pm - 5:00 pm), or Friday, August 4, 2017 (1:00 pm - 5:00 pm). Juror: Dorallen Davis. Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards including cash prizes and art-related merchandise. Work will not be insured while on Falkirk premises. A release of liability form will be required for all accepted and hung pieces. After a sale, Falkirk Cultural Center will reimburse the exhibitor the sale price less 30% commission.
