FALC Members Exhibition 2024

FALC invites members to submit one work for the 2024 Annual Member Show, displayed at The Page Walker House, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary, NC 27513. The show is limited to the first 70 registered artists due to capacity limitations.

Awards include three $100 prizes: the FALC Mastery Award for best demonstration of technical skill supporting the work's message; the FALC Technical Acumen Award for superior knowledge of materials and color usage; and the FALC Spectrum Award for best use of color to convey the work's message. Additionally, five Artist of Merit Awards of $25 each will be given as Judges Choice based on overall categories. The judge is Brenon Day from Jerry's Artarama.

All work must be totally dry and ready to hang. Work on paper must be matted and framed. Work on canvas may be unframed if edges are painted as an integral part of the work. Maximum size is 30 x 40 inches, and large works should not weigh over 25 lbs. Artwork must be labeled on the back with artist name and contact information, and hung with heavy gauge wire mounted at the top third. Work must be family appropriate per Town of Cary facility guidelines. Important dates: November 5, 2024 (last day to register), November 19, 2024 (artwork drop-off 12 PM-3 PM), December 1, 2024 (reception and awards 2 PM-4 PM), and January 6, 2025 (artwork pickup 12 PM-3 PM). Artwork not picked up during scheduled time becomes property of FALC.
