FALC Exhibition at The Golden Belt Studios

FALC in collaboration with The Golden Belt Studios in Durham is sponsoring a month-long curated exhibition. This opportunity is open to all FALC members. The exhibition will accept up to 90 pieces, with artists able to submit up to 3 pieces, though only one piece per artist may be selected due to space constraints. Artwork must not exceed 40" x 40" in size. Three-dimensional art and jewelry are accepted on a case-by-case basis. All artwork must be framed or gallery-wrapped canvases, wired and labeled with contact information and artwork title.

Submission dates are February 26, 2024 through March 15, 2024. Submissions must be completed through CaFE with a $15.00 entry fee per artist. Artwork delivery is scheduled for March 28-29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The reception will be held on April 19th from 6-9 p.m. in conjunction with Durham's 3rd Friday, with Golden Belt Studios expecting up to a thousand visitors. A People's Choice award will be presented at the end of the reception. Artists must pick up their work by April 29th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; any artwork not picked up becomes the property of FALC. There is a 25% commission on all sales, and sold work must remain through the end of the exhibition and will be marked with a red dot. All sales are direct transactions between artist and buyer. Golden Belt Studios is located at 800 Taylor Street, Durham, NC 27701 and currently houses 25 artists in residence with working studios that will be open during the reception.
