FALC Annual Members Show

FALC invites members to submit one 2D artwork in any medium for the 2023 Annual Members Show at The Page Walker House, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary, NC 27513. This is a judged exhibition limited to the first 70 registered artists due to capacity constraints.

Eligibility and Requirements: This show is open to FALC members only. Artwork must be original work (not reproductions, prints, or work created in instructional settings). Maximum dimensions are 40 inches in width and 48 inches in height, including frame. Canvases must be framed or gallery wrapped with edges painted. All work must be totally dry and ready to hang, with heavy gauge hanging wire and screw eyes appropriate to the weight. Work on paper must be matted and framed. All artwork must be labeled on the back with the artist's name and contact information. Work must be family appropriate per Town of Cary facility guidelines.

Important Dates and Prizes: Entry deadline is October 23, 2023. Artwork drop-off is November 7, 2023 from 2-6 PM. The reception and awards ceremony is November 19, 2023 from 2-4 PM. Artwork pickup is January 3, 2024 from 2-6 PM; artwork not picked up during this time becomes the property of FALC. Prizes include 1st place $100, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50, and five Honorable Mentions at $25 each. Judge Lynn Sanguedolce is an award-winning artist and instructor. FALC retains a 25% commission on works sold during the exhibition and up to 90 days after. Registration is through callforentry.com using a password available on the FALC website.
