FALC 29th Annual Juried Exhibition

The Fine Arts League of Cary invites artists aged 18 and over with residences in North Carolina and surrounding states to submit work for the 29th Annual Juried Exhibition. Membership in FALC is not required. The exhibition will run from August 21 - September 14, 2024 at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary, NC 27513.

Each artist may submit up to three pieces of 2-D artwork in any medium, style, or genre, including mixed-media and photography. Art reproductions (giclees, prints, etc.) are not eligible. Only one piece per artist can be accepted. Maximum artwork size is 38" x 48" including frame, and artwork must not exceed 50 lbs. All artwork must be originally conceived by the artist, family-friendly, and appropriate for the general public. Artwork must arrive dry, wired, and ready to hang. The entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) for up to three pieces. Artwork previously selected for FALC awarded exhibitions is not eligible, but work that was entered but not accepted may be resubmitted.

Online submissions are accepted through June 3 - August 4, 2024 (11:59 p.m. MDT). Notifications of acceptance will be sent by email on August 11th. All artwork must be hand-delivered to the Page-Walker Arts and History Center on August 20th, 2024 (12-6 p.m.) and picked up on September 16th (12-6 p.m.). Shipped work will not be accepted. All artwork must be available for purchase at submitted prices; FALC receives a 25% commission on sales. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on September 8th, 2024 (2-4 p.m.). The juror is internationally acclaimed artist Lyudmila Tomova Clark. Awards include: 1st Prize ($1,000), 2nd Prize ($750), 3rd Prize ($500), and five Honorable Mentions ($50 each).
