Fair Winds & Following Seas

Broad and Belvidere Contemporary Art is hosting Fair Winds & Following Seas, an exhibition running January 17 – February 12, 2026 at Broad & Belvidere. The exhibition is open to artists 18 and older residing in the Northeast Region of the U.S. All artwork must be for sale and professionally presented (framed or clean gallery-wrapped canvas). No AI-generated work is accepted. Maximum artwork width is 42 inches including frame. All mediums are welcome: painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, photography, and more. Artists may submit up to 4 works; one or more may be accepted at the gallery's discretion. Accepted artwork must remain for the full duration of the exhibition.

Awards include Best in Show ($300), 2nd Place ($200), and 3rd Place ($100). Artists receive 60% of the sale price; the gallery retains 40%. Sales tax is handled by the gallery, and artist payments for sold works are issued within 30 days of the exhibition close. All work must be priced by the artist.

Submit entries via ShowSubmit between Tuesday, December 9, 2025 and Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Notifications will be sent Friday, January 9, 2026. Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork itself with correct orientation.
