Faces of Humanity

Rise With Art gallery, in collaboration with World Cultures on View nonprofit organization, invites photographers from around the globe to submit work for this international exhibition. The call seeks portraits representing different cultures and ethnicities that reflect how you perceive humanity and the world.

Open to all lens-based photographic media, including film, video, digital camera, scanner, and screen-capture images. Entries must be for sale. You may submit up to 5 photographs in color or black and white. Selected works will be exhibited at Gallery Maker on Los Angeles Street in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, with an opening reception on July 8th, 2022, running through August 5th, 2022. Fifty images will be selected for the exhibition and featured on the organizations' websites and social media accounts.

Entry fee is $25 for the first image, with an additional $5 per image for up to 5 total submissions. Submission deadline is June 5th, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Selected artists will be notified by June 14th and must submit print-ready files (TIFF format, 300dpi, maximum 24 inches on longest side) by June 20th, along with a maximum 100-word biography. Images must be submitted through CaFE in JPG/JPEG format, sRGB colorspace, minimum 1200 pixels and maximum 1920 pixels on the longest side, no larger than 5MB, without watermarks or identifying information. Include a short caption and link to your website or social media with each submission.
